This August 10th we had company! I did have to work, so my 10 started later in the day. Carrie brought the boys up to visit for a few days. I can’t believe how grown up they are. It makes me feel so old. I’m lucky we have been able to see each other as often as we do. Two out of three (brothers who stay in touch) ain’t bad. I guess. We enjoyed the visit. Hopefully we will see them over the holidays. I actually took my July 10 and never posted them. Sad Clair.

I had to run back over to a client's office (optometrist) to take pictures and I had Carrie pose for us. She's kind of a big deal.

Sassy officially died this week. She was my Sony Vaio that I got in early 2007. Sassy II is up and running. My lightroom works so much faster! With lots of help from my sweet MWD. Happy Clair! Many more pictures to come. I might even update my family website (WHAT??). June 10th was kind of boring. I tried not to take a bunch of work pictures since that is what I mostly did, but I still tried to find the beauty in my day.

It’s been a while since I did a 10 on 10 or even wrote in my blog. Hopefully I can get back to it now that I’m getting my new job figured out. These probably were exactly every hour – today was a work day, so kind of a boring 10, but I’m getting back to it . . .

I need a good detox when I get over this cough. So. Many. Pills.
Taking the shorties to school. My little bowhead. I heart the Gourds work, work, work - anyone want to buy some direct mail? I'm kind of a big deal Lunch with Jack Scouting some of my area in Seguin - "Welcome to Seguin" Bucky balls. Everywhere I look. Birds haven't found my new feeder yet. Who doesn't enjoy a good Mexican thumb wrestle against yourself?

I totally missed the January ten and almost the February one as well. I started a new job this week and spent part of the day training. I didn’t exactly do these every hour. Mostly stuff from my house throughout the day.

My computer issues came to a head this morning when I tried to work on my pictures from our Disney World trip and realized it wasn’t my computer that was messed up (still old and crappy), but my external drive I have ALL of my pictures on. I was devastated at first thinking I was going to lose years of pictures (there were tears). I’m pretty lucky though. MWD knows how important my photos are to me and has been working on it for hours. He has recovered all but the last few months. Which means I have lost the best 2/3 of our Disney trip, which is a big bummer – but overall a good result. I guess I need two external drives. One just for back up.

Ramble, ramble – I got to do a 10 on 10 and edit it. Yay!

This was a present to myself. I heart this warmer and the snowberry scent - happy me.

I’m a little late with my 10 on 10 this month. I’ve had computer issues and editing photos seems to make my computer freeze up, so I am two short – I made it up. I am hoping that I can get a fancy Macbook sometime next year. Until then I will keep on trying. Don’t worry – I’m still taking the pictures. Even if I can’t edit them yet.

Auntie Carra sent pins for our trip to Disney. The kids are excited about pin trading at Disneyworld. Wednesdays ("Family Night") we have been planning our trip. FUN!

I’m pretty impressed that I have not missed a 10 on 10 since I started. We had a quick and unexpected visit from my friend and step-monster, Carrie (AKA: Nonna). She is always fun to be around and has a great attitude that rubs off on me and helps keep me positive. I wish we lived closer! The kids and I had to finish up some back-to-school shopping, so Nonna wondered the outlet mall (she’s a pro) while we finished up. Laid back, fun day. Plenty of beauty in our ordinary.

July 10 on 10 was a practically kid free Saturday. Which almost never happens. Very lazy. Jack and Emily have gone on a road trip with Emily’s Granny. We needed a sitter for Jack for a couple of days while we go to Denver for work and Granny took him on for a whole week. We’re pretty lucky. I’ve never been away from him for more than five days - I already miss him. Noah is trying to book himself up to avoid being home without his siblings. Kinda cute.

June 10 on 10 was supposed to happen on a road trip to meet our friends in Dallas to watch Bingham. Instead it was a day around the house. Figures. I think I still pulled it out. Emily’s at camp and the boys hung out with me all day. I’ve been enjoying spending my summer with the kids. Lot’s of reading and learning going on . . . and playing.
