10 on 10 – June

11 June 2010 7 Comments

June 10 on 10 was supposed to happen on a road trip to meet our friends in Dallas to watch Bingham. Instead it was a day around the house. Figures. I think I still pulled it out. Emily’s at camp and the boys hung out with me all day. I’ve been enjoying spending my summer with the kids. Lot’s of reading and learning going on . . . and playing.

The explanation: I learned about 10 on 10 from Alysha Gray  (in January via Twitter, see my other 10 on 10’s) and believe it was started by Rebekah.  As Rebekah says “take a photo once an hour for ten consecutive hours on the tenth of each month. document a snapshot of your life and find beauty among the ordinary things of your day.”

packages from Auntie Carra are always a big hit!

He has already read over 1000 minutes since school let out.

making projects at the project table . . .

Our crape myrtle's are in full bloom.

We trained Monkey to ring these bells when she wants out. Sweet.

During a chess lesson, Jack kept calling the knight "darkness" - it took me awhile to figure out how he got there.

We ended the day Skyping with my Dad. Technology rocks.
