Sloth

5 December 2009 No Comment

What a total and complete day of sloth. It is 10:30pm and I’m about to get out of my PJs and shower only to put on a clean pair of PJs. Wow. I basically read and watched TV all day. The bigs are gone with the other parents this weekend. Jack and I did a few dances and made some projects in-between – he loves projects. A typical Jack project is usually a piece of construction paper (choose one of the 7 standard issue – today was red) cut into a random shape and completely saturated in one color of marker (today was purple). He usually tops this project off with a hole punch and some fishing line (around the tree and through the hole).  Last night he made about 7 snowmen projects and then made videos with my camera of his fingers singing. Quite amusing. He also told me that one of his snowmen was sad – because Santa spanked his butt. Awww. Poor snowman.

MWD has had football going all day, but I won’t complain as long as he keeps the fire going for me. It’s damn cold for New Braunfels. It even snowed for about 6 minutes yesterday. I took a picture, there is proof. MWD’s had his own little projects – blogging, tech support stuff (some for me), playing with some lighting toys his brother sent (dimmers = cool).

I guess the fact that I tracked down a few writers to follow on twitter and read some short stories is something – right? That is my goal these days. Find other writers, read their stuff, hope they read some of my stuff. I just keep writing and trying to get better. I haven’t had a photography attack in awhile, I feel one coming. So watch out.
